Cars Tier List

This cars page ranks vehicles in Collect Cars and Race the way a lobby shop actually presents them. The official Roblox experience is Car Race by push to start. There is no leaked official speed table on the game page, so every letter below is a practical community rank built from shop order, 2023 Candy-map creator videos, and what you can still see in the live vehicle list. If a number is not on screen in your client, we do not invent it.

The launch loop is simple. Gas sets how hard you hit the ramp. Pets multiply the run. The car is the body you throw. A late boat with an empty pet bar still looks funny and dies short. Read this list beside the pets tier list and the how to get cars walkthrough.

Ranking rules (read this before the table)

  • Shop position matters more than livery. Starter slow vehicles sit at D/C. Mid shop sports cars, jeep, and bus sit at B. Late shop boats, submarine, and pirate ship sit at A. Expensive Robux showpieces sit at A/S because they flex and they still add distance in videos.
  • Color is cosmetic. Recoloring a jeep does not promote it to S.
  • 2x Studs is an earnings pass, not a hidden nitro. It helps you buy the next row faster. Details and prices are on gamepasses.
  • Video prices are snapshots. 2023 sessions quoted things like a submarine around five billion studs, a drag-style late car around fifteen billion, and a pirate ship around forty billion. Those figures can be wrong in your build. Trust the shop label in front of you.
  • Candy-map cars are late. Creator videos treat Candy / Candyland as a rebirth-gated world with its own exclusive vehicles. We do not pretend a brand-new account should farm a candy car tonight.

S tier — flex plus distance

Vehicle groupWhy it sits hereHonest caveat
Expensive Robux showpiecesPaid exclusives in videos launch far and signal a spender. Flex and distance travel together. We do not have official DPS. If the tooltip in your shop is weaker than a pirate ship you already own, keep the pirate ship.
Top late-shop finishers used as showpiecesThe last rows of the main shop (pirate ship especially) are the usual “I finished the lot” clip.S is a community tag for finishers, not a promise that a Robux car always beats a fully pet-stacked boat.

Buy S only after your pets and gas route are not embarrassing. A showpiece on a D pet team is a screenshot, not a leaderboard plan.

A tier — late shop distance tools

Vehicle groupWhy it sits hereHonest caveat
BoatVideos treat the wheeled boat as the first “this is a new game” launch after land vehicles.Still a shop car. You earn it; you do not need Robux.
SubmarineMid-to-late water row. Distinct model, clear upgrade step in 2023 clear videos.Price quotes from old videos may not match your client.
Pirate shipUsual end of the stud shop. Often cannot be recolored, which is a cosmetic footnote, not a stat.Forty-billion quotes are historical. Confirm live cost.
Candy / Formula-style late cars shown in map videosAppear after rebirths and Candy unlock talk. Used as long-run tools in those sessions. Not a starter goal. If you cannot see the row, you are not in that world yet.

A-tier cars are the reason you rebirth. They are not magic. Miss a lobby of gas cans and an A car still posts a short number.

B tier — mid shop, worth the grind

Vehicle groupWhy it sits hereHonest caveat
Sports carsFirst rows that look like “real” race bodies. Clear step up from the slow starter.Looks do not equal S. Sports is a mid grind.
JeepSame band as sports in shop walkthroughs: usable, not a finale.Fine for stacking studs toward boats.
Bus / school busMid-shop meme that still outruns the starter in videos.Buy it if it is the next affordable row, not because it is funny.

If you are still on B, your job is gas discipline and pet quality, not hunting Robux exclusives. The how to get cars page covers stud income; this table only tells you which row is a real upgrade.

C tier — early upgrades

C is everything above the free starter that is not yet sports/jeep/bus. These cars exist so the first hour has a purchase. They launch farther than D. They are still the wrong place to dump a rebirth bank. If the shop shows a cheap early body and you can afford a mid sports row instead, skip the souvenir.

D tier — starters

D is the slow default you spawn in. It exists to teach the ramp. Replace it as soon as the first paid row is cheaper than another failed launch. Do not spend Robux to skip D unless you already understand gas; a paid body with no fuel is still a short flight.

How to actually climb the letters

  1. Redeem codes so you are not going off the ramp with an empty pet bar. Universal Varan and Monster Pet belong in the pets list, and they carry early cars.
  2. Walk the lobby for every gas can and treasure cross. Skipping cans is how B cars post D distances.
  3. Buy the next shop row you can see. Do not save for a pirate ship while a jeep is on sale and your current body is the starter.
  4. Rebirth only when the next world or bonus is cheaper than another mid-car purchase you still need.
  5. Treat Robux showpieces as optional S/A flex. The gamepasses that actually help car climbing are 2x Studs (bank) and Auto Collect (more gas, cleaner launches).

What a “best car” question should look like

“Best car” is three different questions. Best for a new account is the first mid-shop sports or jeep you can afford after codes. Best for a Candy-map video is the late boat / sub / pirate row plus whatever exclusive the Candy shop is showing. Best for flex is the Robux showpiece you like looking at. Those answers can all be true on the same day. This list keeps them in different letters so you do not spend forty billion (or a pile of Robux) on the wrong question.

If two cars are adjacent in the shop and you cannot feel a difference on the track, believe your last launch, not our header. Community ranks lag live patches, and Collect Cars and Race does not drop public patch notes. When the shop grows, we move rows. Until then, buy down the list, keep pets equipped, and let the infinite track argue with you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for gas, pets, cars, and codes.

What is the best car in Collect Cars and Race?

For a new account, the next mid-shop sports, jeep, or bus you can afford. For late game, videos treat boats, the submarine, and the pirate ship as the stud-shop finishers. Robux showpieces are S/A flex. See the tables above and how to get cars.

Does color change speed?

No. Color is cosmetic. The pirate ship in older videos often would not recolor at all, which still did not stop it sitting at the top of the stud shop.

Does 2x Studs make my car faster?

It doubles stud income so you buy the next row sooner. It is not a top-speed toggle. Read gamepasses before you buy it as a “nitro.”

Should I buy a Robux car before a pirate ship?

Only if you are buying a look. Distance climbing is gas plus pets plus the next shop row you can actually see. Paid showpieces are optional S/A.

Why don’t you list every car name and a number?

There is no official public spreadsheet. Naming a fake 8.2x on a jeep would be worse than grouping by shop band. If the live shop adds a labeled stat, we will cite that label.
