Collect Cars and Race Changelog

This changelog is a reconstruction. push to start did not publish a long official patch archive for Car Race (the Roblox place behind Collect Cars and Race, ID 11620633955). What follows is stitched from the game page, Shop codes, gamepasses, and creator videos. If a date is firm, we say so. If we are inferring, we say that too.

20 November 2022 — launch

Car Race goes live as a free Roblox incremental racer. Servers hold 16 players. The loop on the page is already the loop now: collect gas to raise speed, launch off a ramp across an infinite stud track, collect pets and cars to push distance, set high scores. There is no split-screen campaign. There is a lobby, a shop, a ramp, and a board.

Launch-era codes still read like a ship checklist. Release hands out the Universal Varan pet — an early A-tier slot if you redeem it at all. FreeGas is the obvious onboarding fuel string. Update1 is the first numbered fossil; public code lists have long attached a modest gas pile (often 800) to it. We cite those reward sizes as community-reported, not as a signed designer table.

Update-named drops — Update1 through Update5

The code box is the closest thing this game has to a version header.

We do not invent extra code names to fill holes. If Shop rejects a string, it is dead on your account even if a 2024 blog still paints it green.

2023 — Candy / Candyland, seen in videos

Creator videos from January 2023 onward are the public record of the Candy map. Players talk about stacking rebirths (clips often cite a pile around fifteen before the world talk starts), then loading a candy-colored course with its own exclusive egg and late cars. Footage from that season still shows the late stud-shop row people care about: sports and jeep and bus in the middle, then boats, a submarine, a pirate ship, plus Robux showpieces off to the side.

Older copies of the game description described an Update 5 content bundle in almost patch-note language:

• Dark Matter pets (three rainbow = one Dark Matter)
• New exclusive egg / car
• Minor changes

That paragraph is the most official systems list we have. It is not a dated Steam post. We keep it here as reconstructed Update 5 language, not as a claim that Candy shipped on a specific Tuesday.

If you are arriving years later, Candy is not a rumor. It is in the videos. Whether your account has unlocked it depends on rebirths and whatever the live teleporter still requires. The gameplay walkthrough is Rebirth and Candy. Distance after the reset is How to Go Far. The changelog can tell you the world exists. It cannot teleport you.

Like-goal codes — up to 145,000

The game page has used like milestones as a public roadmap. Older mirrors mention new codes at 30,000, then 100,000, 135,000, 140,000. The live description we are documenting teases NEW CODE AT 145,000 LIKES. That is a promise, not a redeemed string. When the counter crosses the line, try Shop, then log the grant on codes. Until then, do not write a fake 145k code into your notes.

Like-goals explain why this changelog has long quiet stretches. A simulator can sit still while a counter crawls. Peak concurrent users hit 2,414 on 31 March 2024; after that the place is a long-tail lobby. Quiet CCU does not mean the like teaser is fake. It means fewer people are pushing the counter.

Shop passes as a frozen loadout

The ten passes (Auto Collect 399, 2x Studs 289, +2 Pets 239, +250 Pet Storage 124, +3 Pets 359, Super Lucky 249, Ultra Lucky 649, VIP 239, Triple Hatch 349, Auto Rebirth 129) are part of the historical record too. We cannot date each pass to a day. We can say the live Shop still sells that set, and that any future changelog entry should note a price change or a new pass name. See gamepasses for who should buy what. This page only cares that the pass board exists and has not been replaced by a different monetization scheme in the public client.

July 2026 — platform update timestamp

Roblox still showed an updated stamp in July 2026 (mirrors cite 10 July 2026 on localized place pages). That is a platform publish time. It is not a notes dump. It does not prove Candy 2. It does not prove a new car row. It proves the place was published again. We log it because players ask “is the game abandoned?” and a 2026 stamp is a better answer than silence — with the caveat that a publish can be a tiny change.

No detailed official patch notes were attached to that stamp in public. We will not invent a bullet list of bug fixes to look complete.

How we will add the next line

A real next entry needs at least one of: a new code that redeems, a changed like-goal sentence, a new pass or price, a new map or shop row visible in the client, or a written sentence on the Roblox page. Screenshots of the Shop code box and the description text are enough. Datamined DPS is not required and not welcome if it is fake.

Until that evidence exists, this changelog stops at launch, the Update-named codes, Candy-map season, the 145k like teaser, the frozen pass board, and the July 2026 timestamp. That is a thinner history than a live-ops shooter. It is also the honest one.
